Just some good information ,

A Parent's Confession

God’s mercy hovers over my child. The covenant I have with God in the blood of Jesus extends to my children (and grandchildren)--covering them completely. Everything God gives to me, He’ll give to my children including peace and protection. I lay hold of God’s plans and promises for my children by faith, and I call those things of change to come to pass in their life.

I believe God for my child’s deliverance and salvation. I put all of my trust in the Lord concerning my children (and grandchildren) and am filled with joy because I know they are turning to the Lord. No matter how far away my child seems to be, there is no place where God can’t reach them. I’m not moved by what I see, but by what the Word says. I believe that Christ will capture their heart, and they will follow and obey Him.

Prayer for Your Children

Father, Your Word is true and I believe it. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that the Word of God prevails over my children. Your Word says that You will pour out Your Spirit upon my offspring and Your blessing upon my descendants. I believe and say that my children are wise and that they take heed to and are the fruit of godly instruction and correction. I love my children and I will diligently discipline them early. Because of that, they give me delight and rest.

Father, I take Your Word that says You will contend with him who contends with me, and You give safety to my children and ease them day by day. They are blessed when they come in and when they go out. I confess that You, Lord, give Your angels special charge over my children to accompany and defend and preserve them. I believe they find favor, good understanding and high esteem in Your sight, Lord, and in the sight of man.

I confess that my children are disciples taught of the Lord and obedient to Your will. Great is their peace and undisturbed composure. I believe I receive wisdom and counsel in bringing up my children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. And Your Word declares that when they are old they will not depart from it. So I commit them to Your keeping and I know and have confident trust that they are watched over and blessed of the Lord all the days of their lives, in Jesus’ Name.

Minnie and Princess

Minnie is spending the night in the hospital. She got up this morning with a tummy ache, throwing up and bloody diarrhea. Doc wanted to keep her and give her fluids and get her body temp a little higher. I was telling what all she ate and I said I let her lick out the empty meatloaf pan. He ask if there was onions in it with a knowing nod when I said yes there was. Hmmm......

Ya Mom, it does look like something is about to fall off doesn't it. Sorry if that bothers you but my canister set is just an empty basket so that wouldn't do much damage but it has never moved a hair. The bottom shelf is just my coffee filters. You can rest easy, not a problem. Next time ill straighten my shelves before I take a picture. Don't want Mommie hyperventilating! :-) now, if you looked in my cabinet by the door...... I have all my glasses and mugs there and I think it tilts slightly toward the floor cause every time someone slams the door, I have to push all my glasses and mugs back away from the edge again. If it wernt for the door, they would probably fall out......

It's not that I am ignoring you guys, I so want to comment on your blogs but this crazy phone won't let me. It won't let me get past the crazy word part for some reason. Anyway, Sharon, I want to say that I loved the picture of the red barn, white snow, and blue sky. That's a calendar picture for sure. I wanted to say welcome to Sarah, glad to have you aboard. I wanted to say I sorry, Mommy, when things don't go your way, I know its frustrating. I wanted to say, Wow, to Jeanie, that's a lot of snow! Glad it was at your house and nitrate mine! I wanted to say Hey to Wheeling Grammy, I know you can send pics from your phone to the blog so lets see some of those far away places you go to! I wanted to say to Lois, sorry you are having trouble posting, I will fix that soon and when I do you better go wild. And now I've had my say so I will shut up for a while!

I love the way the sun streams into my kitchen in the afternoons! maybe if I would wash the window I would get more sun?

This is something you don't see very often at my house, but it will be happening more often from now on!

Go fishing

Fishing can be an enjoyable hobby. It requires skill, knowledge and patience. But when the fish aren't biting, you get to relax as well.

Unfortunately, getting out to fish isn't always easy. You might not live near a fishing lake or creek. Or maybe your kids want to fish, but you don't like baiting hooks.

Pay a visit to Thrill of the Catch by Discovery Education. You can go fishing in various lake locations. And you get to choose your own bait.

Caught fish can be kept or thrown back. And you can view a gallery of the big ones. You will need to register to keep fish, but it's free.

The site isn't all about catching fish. Kids can also learn about keeping lakes clean. And you can even create and feed new fish. These show up in the game for you or others to catch.

So with a birthday like the big
FIVE OH coming up, it sets ya to thinking
about life an stuff...... I could get
all sad an upset about it an cry for a
week or I could look at it a different
way. Say you were getting on up in age,
maybe 75 or so and somebody offered you
a gift. The gift was to be able to turn
back your age by 25 years and be 50 again.
How many of us would accept that gift?
Jump at it? Grab it and enjoy it to the
best of our ability? I know I probably
would and that is how I am going to look
at 50, as a gift to be cherished, enjoyed,
and lived to the fullest! After all, 50
is still young, to some of you guys anyway. Lol

So what is a person to do all night when you sit up beside someone's bed in a dark room for 10 hours! Well, I am listening to some good music in my ear, I've had a snack, I listened to The Daily Audio Bible, I caught up on Facebook and the blogs, I got out my book to read but couldn't get into it, I texted Lois since she is the only one up too this time of night, I tried to grab a nap but that's not easy to do sitting in a wooden rocking chair, hmmm... Any ideas?
