Who says you can't wash dishes and talk on the phone at the same time?
Well, we are down to 3 puppies left in the pen and two of them are sold so I guess we havn't done so bad. What is weird is that I can put an ad in the paper to run over the weekend and get few to no calls during the weekend but the following week I get all the calls and sell all the pups.

This is our last little girl left. She hasn't been chosen because she has shorter hair then the rest. The fluffy ones always go first. We may have to keep her for a couple more weeks but I am confident that she will find her forever home soon.

Yesterday Terry's help was sick and didn't work so I had to fill in at the sawmill. I had forgotten how much work that could be! We only sawed 8 logs into ties but that was plenty enough for me! I didn't come away un wounded, I jammed my finger when I fell between two ties and it is swollen and sore today. I did something to my knee, it is sore and it didn't help that I was wounded from sledding in the snow with Sis the day before. That time I pulled a muscle in my side when we went down a big hill and I fell off the sled and skidded down the hill on my shoulder. I told her I was too old for that kind of stuff but that didn't help. I thought I was going to have to help saw ties again today but was saved by the ice storm. We had to give it up and go home about noon because of the ice. That was just fine with me! That's not a job I want back any time soon.

Just an update on the small fry. I did sell him but he only went about 3 miles away. A lady saw him when he was still in his little candle box, just peeking over the top. She absolutely fell in love with him and convinced her husband to get him for her for Valentines day. I didn't really want to sell him, only because I wanted to see how he will turn out and how big he will get but I really DON'T need anymore dogs around here and he seemed to be doing great. Eating good, pooping good and really too feisty and actually a little mean so I let him go. He is close enough that I can keep an eye on him and will try to keep you up to date on how he is doing.

I had a nice weekend off but it is over now and back to the nursing home in the morning for another 72 hours. Bea is her usual self, very noisy in the evenings and hard to get to sleep. She has a roommate now and that make it harder on us to try and keep her quiet. I say try, because it really never works. We are sleeping in the recliner at night, do-able but not comfy. This Friday she has an appointmet at New Albany for a scope of her bladder. Will know more after that.
