Fun!

Sent from Sis' cell phone. It said that it didn't send so I am surprised to see it here.

The wood box is full, the outside animals are in and the dogs all have their coats on. The thermometer is dropping but we are warm and dry, well, at least if you are in the living room by the stove you are warm.  It is 65°  in the kitchen but that is not bad for a 150 year old house in 0° weather with a wind chill of less then that.
I didn't have a coat small enough for little Minnie Mouse so she is wearing a sock with holes cut in the appropriate places.

 The Farm
I  found this place called TiltShiftMaker where you can upload a photo and they will send it back altered. What is TiltShiftMaker you ask? Tilt-shift miniature style photos are pictures of real-life scenes that are manipulated to look like model photographs. The buildings are supposed to look like miniatures sitting on a model. I guess if you use your imagination just a little you can see it.  It was a fun little project to do on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Yes, I actually have a whole day at home for the first time in at least a year. Sis has been sick with a bad cold all week and her dad got up this morning with the stomach flu so we didn't go to church. They went back to bed and I had a little quiet time with my computer. I did get the kitchen floor swept and mopped and I want to vacume the bedroom floor if I can ever get off my tail here and get busy. I gathered up all the Christmas decorations from the kitchen but they are just piled up on the corner of the table. I'll get around to putting them away one of these days. We have the tree and all the 'stuff' still up in the living room. Will get to that too, some day.   Thank you Terry! He has kept the dishes washed this week so I don't have to come home to 4 days of dirty dishes and stand for hours in front of the sink. Isn't he a sweetie!

Minnie Mouse says Hello, I weighed her this morning, she is up to 1lb. 12 oz. and is almost 5 months old.

I wish I had a copy of the picture I took of her in the dryer when she was about 18 months old. It was a better fit then.

I have nothing to say  on this one!

Thanks Sharon, This is great!

A lady was telling her son that she saw a man driving down the interstate, and a dog was hanging onto the tail gate for dear life.  She said if he hadn't been going so fast in the other direction she would have tried to stop him.

A few weeks later, her son saw this truck at the Bass Pro Shop in Daphne, Alabama !  It's a taxidermist! Talk about an eyecatcher!

Timmy, this is for you. Click here to play the bubble pop game that I was playing. Careful, it is a bit addictive!

Merry Christmas everybody!
Here is my Christmas present!

It is a '92 and will seat 5 in the back in individual seats that can be removed. It only cost $500 but it look fine. No bangs, scratches or dents. The inside is clean and in fair condition. It runs fine, at the present anyway. Hey, it will get me to work and back
Sis decorated the tree herself, it is a red and silver or white theme with candy canes and candy cane ribbon. Very pretty. That is not a job I look forward to so I am glad to pass that on to her.
That is Minnie Mouse with Great Grandma Tabby. Minnie is 4 months old now and weighs just 1  1/2 lbs. She is so little that I am so worried she will get hurt. I don't really know how to keep her safe without just keeping her lock up in a cage all the time. That would be a lonely life. I take her to Bea's when I am there for 2 days and I keep her in her side of the pen when I am home but she does get to play with the big dogs some too. Believe it or not, it is the cat that is the roughest on her. I have to smack the cat with the flyswatter when he is making her cry.
Here she is patiently waiting by the tree on Christmas morning.
"What are you doing, Dad? Hurry Up!"
Here he comes with his breakfast doughnut and sausage link and cup of hot chocolate. Notice the beggars on the couch are glad to see him coming too.
 ...and they weren't disappointed.

Tickled with her digital camera and game for her Wii.
Can't forget the little guys.
There was just one bone and they had to share it.
Then it was time to fix lunch. Honey glazed ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, bisquits, cranberry sauce and a sugar pie. I feel a nap coming on now. Sis has been playing her new game all day but had to quit now so dad can watch the news. It has been a nice, quiet, restful day.
I hope every one had a good Christmas.

Wow! it is cold out tonight! It is 12 midnight and it is 7° out there. Glad I am not sleeping under a bridge tonight.

I finally sold the last two puppies today. I actually sold one of them twice! I have the pups and one adult male for sale and a lady came down from Mitchel and bought the adult and one puppy. She was about 10 minutes gone and she called me back and wanted to return them both. The pup was a nervous wreck and it lost it's dinner all over her lap. Well, she was done, that killed it she said. She decided she didn't want a dog anyway and was bringing them back. Oh well, about 30 minutes later a lady call crying because she had just put down her dog yesterday from cancer and wanted to know if we had any puppies for sale.  Isn't the Lord good? Now I just have the one adult to go.

Whoa! It is cold outside! Oh, sorry, I just said that didn't I?

She had a good time!
This was a beautiful sunset! I hope everyone got to see it. These are from Sarah's cell phone. I took some pictures and Mom did too so you might see more here later.

Remember this place? It was torn down in 2006.
This is a familiar site.
I walked through those doors on the right many, many times.
Inside Montgomery Wards.
This is looking toward the Woolworths store straight ahead. The bathrooms were up those stairs.
Montgomery Wards is on the Right, Zales is straight ahead on the left.
Another shot of the stairs to the bathrooms.

Looking toward Wards from the mall, Woolworths on the left.
This is the Zales store where I bought my first fancy watch and also my class ring.
This is looking inside the Woolworths store, that is checkout lane 1.
Another shot down through the mall.
The Western store at the other end of the mall by Wyatt's.
Make room for progress.
This is the mall we shopped in and I worked at for 6 years, just out of highschool when we lived at the house below. I always wondered about this place, if it was still standing or what. I just looked it up on Google and found these pictures.
