I put him in his little sock this morning and greased his head with Vaseline so they wouldn't peck at that part of him and put him back in the nest box. I was just hoping things would work out right but when we got home and checked on him, he was okay but there was no food in his crop. Looks like they are not feeding him now that he looks so funny. I finally decided that this is going to be my job for the next 4-6 weeks. Sis is finally old enough to help now and she fed him 3 or 4 times tonight. The books say he should gain a little weight each day so......we'll see how this turns out.
