Well, it is cold out here in the kitchen tonight so I have to make this quick so I can get back in there by the fire. The thermometer say about 27° right now and it is hard to keep this 150 year old farmhouse warm.
We had a great day Thursday and Granny's house with all the family and all the food. Just wish more of the neices, nephews and grandkids could have been there but when they are so scattered it is hard to get together again. Maybe at Christmas.
Sarah Beth has been wanting to put up the Christmas tree since way before Thanksgiving but I have managed to hold her off until now. There is no stopping her now! It is amazing how much enthusiam, energy, drive and know how she can come up with when it is something she really wants to do. We have the tree put together and most of the lights on but we ran out of working strings of lights so will need to visit the Dollar Store again before we can continue. That is about to drive her nuts, the waiting part.
